The days are filled with scorching sunheat which always makes me cringe like eating sour grapes. Global warming is not an absolute phenomenon but the increasing heat is pretty obvious. Climate change in various countries fortifies the belief of global warming. Is the earth getting old? If yes, can we help to fight the aging process? Are all these phenomenons a sign of the old earth or a consequence of what we have done? If it's the former, we must feel sorry for our future generations for they would be facing more challenges to keep the earth functioning properly. If latter, we can do something bout it, but to what extent can this be a unified action creates a space of doubt.
As I could see in the previous global earth hour, Malaysians did not show very much enthusiasm, ohh boy that was disappointing. The attitude displayed by many Malaysians proved that we are really living in a dark cave. Our famous attitude consists of:
- nice houses (everything in the house and within the surrounding of the house is tidy, clean and pretty, but once out of the gate, rubbish is everywhere, with the FINE of RM500 sign in the middle of the bunch of rubbish)
- nice clothes (immaculately gorgeous, ahem not so for some of us. But deep inside, we are still cave men and women)
- highly educated (am not even sure what we learn in the universities if not to prepare ourselves for the job market. Majority of university students think only bout their OWN future, not for U or me or her/him. What a limited definition of education!!)
or we like to say: I look after myself, you look after yourself. Bye bye!
Ahem, that's it!
Cool
