The differences of Chinese and English

The differences of Chinese and English. I mean that they are both difficult to learn. But which is more difficult to learn? I dont know. Please tell me your thinkings!

    Um... I think Chinese is more difficult that English because I heard Chinese characters have 4 kinds pronunciations(like high, low...) and each pronumciations have a different meaning. :)
