Similiarities

May 14th 2008, 02:07 AM 0 raters

So, I was writing an essay on Aristotle's metaphysics and got stuck on his Theory of Universal's. I got lost between the "if it isn't predicted... it doesn't exist.."
I only got myself confused more then when I started reading it. Heh, out of the philospher's I think Aristotle is the more complicated one to understand.
Well at the moment, I turned it in - not my best paper, but it's something. I did add potentiality-actuality in though, that was probably one of the most important thing that the professor was looking for and God the unmoved mover.
I think I'll stick with the natural science theories then base my thoughts on some other guys ideaologies. I of course understand, phyiscs spawned metaphysics and philosophy was the true begining of all science...logic, analytics, mathematics,etc..

Pagan Fest

Feb 14th 2008, 03:32 PM 0 raters

So, Pagan Fest will be happening next month for me. I believe I am jumping for joy. Speaking of joy, there was a time when I was truly ecstatic - over anything basically. Anyway, the point I am trying to make. I may be excited about PG, but I am not happy. Well, hell I am not even content. I feel so remorseful and 'effing nostalgic. Usually, I don't let my emotions bother me because they're just emotions and I am a high extrovert, so I had, keyword (had), plenty of energy to share and give. I believe I've been giving a little too much, because I suddenly started to question the mundane existence of life and resorted back to evolution. I even started to look into some metaphysical writings to give me a clear head....anywho, I am back with a thousand questions with a thousand answers - yet, none of those answers IS the answer. Maybe, I question it aBIT too much and over analyze a simple situation. Perhaps there is a simple solution to mymega size brain with a mega size headache. I can tell you this, I am dissappointed in the lack of support H.Clinton is getting. Sure, she is a woman and OLD, but if she was Tyra Banks or Angelina Jolie - she would totally kick Obama's @33 at the polls. I rather put the life, nonexistent as it may seem, into someone who has a lifelong career in politics and an extensive resume of leadership. I so vote for her if she wins over the delegates. But time will tell and hopefully people will pull their heads out of there ass's and realize that whomever is on that pedastol, has to prove themselves. I believe history is in the making. No insults to anyone, beliefs, or their chosen dem. candidate. After all is said and done, I believe we should help with the transistion of the change - no matter who may be the next Prez. The next best thing is just to accept it and move on. It's only 4 years in office. Maybe a change of scenery is needed. There is hope either way you look at it.

2007 TU24

Feb 1st 2008, 11:23 PM 0 raters

If no one knew...but anyway, it was kickass. The asteroid TU24 was reported to have missed the earth by 334, 000 miles on 1-29-08..not far from the moon. I bet the space station got a bigger picture of it. Lucky bastards.

Gameathon and Sad Days for the year to come

Jan 22nd 2008, 09:49 PM 0 raters

So last night was sooo totally awesome as usual when games and spooky movies are involved + shit load of sugars. Too bad last night was the end of the halothon, but fear not, it continues again next week!!!
As for why I am feeling a bit down, is Heath Ledger is dead! It was a total surprised that I am still totally stunned from it. He wasn't a bad actor, but he was so cool in the movies that I watched him in, minus BB Mountain - because that is just ... too squicky for me. He was up at the top of my fave actor list, which Jonny Depp is right at the top...but for today and forever - I will mourn Heath Ledger.(RIP)

Halo/MovieThon

Jan 21st 2008, 01:49 PM 0 raters

I should say it was like a gameathon/moviethon. Played Halo for an extended amount of time, when we kinda got tired - watched some movies - then resumed playing!! Of course Halo wasn't the only game played that night, but I know that I must practice more of DOA, cuz I so suk at the game. But hey, I am totally kickass at soul caliber!! The gameathon continues!
