There are some differences betweenChinese and American, such as the condition of developing,the culture ,the way to live and the way to think.When we meet,we say”hello” to each other ,but there will be many kinds of disturbe when we study with him.

In this term My Spoken English Teacher is Riko who is from American and is Jew,he looks like 50 but he says he is about 30.

In the beginning of the class, we listened to him carefully.But the following days, we didn’t do that because he read an article about the phenomenon which was talking about the value of sons over daughters in Chinese society. Riko took some examples about this case, and asked us some questions . we didn’t like the way he questioned. But no one said anything. He asked " why we donn't say something about it, are you afraid of saying the truth ." Suddently, a man stood up and asked "when is your book published?Recelly,in most areas of China women and men share the equal right, even women have the equal right to go to school, go to job and so on.Do you know how difficult to pusur a girl to be my girlfriend?" When he sat down ,girls in this class supported him.But Riko smiled to us and said "no" all the time,it looked like he knows many things we didn't know.

From then on,we began to fight with Riko.But we couldn't pursuade each other,sometimes he said:"I I feel sorry for you. "We refused to hug with him.

One day,he said the quality of Chinese was bad,he often saw many people spit  or spoke aloud in the public, and the he asked us how to see the case.It was true of these phenomenon, we can't deny it and we believee that the situation would be gradually improved. He was very glad to see we admit this case, so he recited one American prose for us. When he finished, a girl walked to him and decided to recite a prose too.But the title of the article is uglyAmerican.
　 Later,there was the Tibet 3.14 events. He asked if we knew the truth , he was unsatisfied with the violence behavior against "freedom". We stood up and didn't agree with him. Finally he said: "I don't like to discuss with you , because what you see is not the truth,you are cheated." He thought we would like to be calm like before, however we protested and a representative said to him:" we are so sorry about your speech ,which you can criticize our courtry and goverment in Chinese plantform so freedom. Only ,we,can understand our motherland, our government, we are proud of the love that the goverment did. If you really understand China and Chinese , you can find Chinese people are friendly, sincerity and love, and our government is spokesperson for us! " After hearing that ,Riko looks very surprised, because he never expected our reaction so strongly, he smiled and nodded. Said: "Maybe, you are right."

Riko is punctuality, but one day he ran into the classroom after the bell rang. He asked us if we knew the torch relaying was blocked in France.He felt embarrassed for Draenor people , they made a very low-level mistakes that united the Olympic Games and politics. Riko hoped that we can forgive them.We said" We can forgive them, but it build on the basis of equality, if the French people don't respect Chiese people's emotion, no one can forgive." He tole how he as a Jew to treat the Nazi Germany in the world war ii ,and he said sometimes learn to forgive was really the significant progress for one. That day, we really saw the tears in his eyes, rather than ever that as American's pride. Although we had no idea of what he said, looking at his anger and dignified face ,we suddenly felt that he was more closer to us, he became our alliance  from stranger day by day.　　

  When the earthquake happened in Sichuan,at the beginning of the class Riko Suggested us to be silence for 1 minute for our earthquake compatriots. He asked us how to donate to the earthquake area, when he learned that we have organized in school by making donations , he also made donations and call his friends , relatives to donate by the international federation of Red Cross donations. He told us that he always thought that we are a loose sand, but now he belive that we are the world's most hard granite.

After that, we continue to argue such problems or phenomenon with him,because we come from the very different world. Sometimes he was persuaded to convince us, but sometimes we trusted him, there is no hostile any time. In Christmas Day when students gave him something as gifts, he said he was going to South China and will bring some gifts for us. He also said that he never worry about missing, because though Chinese can't say English ,they even know what he was saying.
